As OpenWay continues to expand its network of over 20 hubs globally, we foster strong connections within our distributed company. In-person meetings allow our teams to reconnect, exchange knowledge, address challenges, celebrate wins, and enjoy camaraderie.
Recently, teams from seven Asian offices gathered for RECONNECT, a unique OpenWay event. Over 150 employees and their families participated, joining from Vietnam (Hanoi and Saigon), Thailand, Malaysia, Bali, Singapore, and Indonesia. The event brought together Business Development, R&D and Delivery teams from the entire region, allowing everyone to reconnect after a pandemic-induced hiatus and also welcome new team members.
Participants met in Hoi An and enjoyed beach games, singing, dining, and cultural activities amid the backdrop of the beautiful Vietnamese countryside. We also embraced the ECO part of RECONNECT by educating ourselves on environmental issues. Everyone learned practical skills and gained experiences in food waste management and sustainable living, under the guidance of the local Green Youth Collective (GYC).
This celebration emphasizes the collaborative and supportive nature of OpenWay’s company culture, and our commitment to sustainability. We are building a resilient and unstoppable team that thrives in the face of challenges. The positive energy of this event is spreading to all of the OpenWay teams around the world.
